The last three days have been pretty busy. Eh.

Friday - went to my uncle's house for dinner. Didn't do any homework.

Saturday - Woke up at 6, ran a bit, went to take the SSAT (secondary school admission test) at 9 at Holton-Arms, and then went to All-State. I screwed up so badly, I didn't even get into finals. :P At least I got it over with. I was shaking like crazy, so I fumbled through the first sixteenth-note run in the fast piece, and had to take like two extra breaths in the slow piece. And then (oh god) sightreading was possibly the worst sightreading I have ever done. It's even easier than middle school Festival sightreading! D: I played it like two times too fast, and my tone was terrible. You could HEAR I was shaking. >_> Oh well. Congrats to you guys who got into finals! And then after All-State, my mom and I went over to Montgomery Mall, and went to like seven stores before we finally managed to find a pair of dressy pants that fit (at Express). Hahahaa, I'm so short. Even size 0 short is pretty long on me. :[ And then after shopping, I went home, took another shower, and then went out to eat Chinese food, 'cause it was my great-grandma's birthday. :D She's 96 now! I saw Julia and Xinyi there too. It was kinda weird, because first I saw Julia, and then about thirty minutes later, I looked over in the corner, and I was like.. I kinda recognize that shirt and that vest and that hair, and all of a sudden I was like "OHMYGOD IT'S XINYI!" and all the people in the restaurant looked at me kinda funny. xD

Oh yeah, and I didn't get any homework done either.

Sunday - Woke up super-late, because I was really tired, took a shower, and then went to my other uncle's house for lunch. We got back at like 3, and then I started cramming in all my homework and studying like crazy, because I hadn't done any. D: I stayed up until 12, which was pretty much a miracle, because I'm a crazy procrastinator. I actually managed to focus on my work. :P Wheee.

Finally got around to making a new layout from this old image I had collecting dust in my highly-neglected "Xanga" folder.. I don't like it much (especially the beveled text -pukes-), but I'll fix it when I have the time. And it's very un-IE compatible (shame on you if you're still using IE. Go eat your face.), so yeah. View it in FF, and if you still have problems, tell me. No links yet, because I'm lazy. :P

I should be doing my homework.

AUGGGGGGH. All I can think of is All-State. All through class, too, so I couldn't concentrate. Funny thing is, I actually managed to do some work during R&E (meaning I cut up some foam with a model saw, figured out how to use those stupid trammel point things, and finished half a foam protractor <_<), so I guess being nervous helps me.. work? Uhm, sure.

Today was okay. For some reason, I was really pooped out. I had like zero energy, and I was kinda sluggish in the morning - the funny thing is, I actually got a lot of sleep (I went to bed at 11:30 -gasp- a record!). Last week, I went to bed at like 1:00 every night and I was really really hyper. I think -puts on nerd glasses- that there's an inverse relationship between the number of hours of sleep I get and the energy I have in school. I tried to fall asleep on the activity bus, but I was like half awake the whole time. <_< Don't you hate it when that happens?

Oh yeah, and I learned how to hack a calculator. >:D Today Li managed to hack into MirageOS for me (Because Pin-Joe set my password and blocked the memory menu). I was just like O_O. That kid's fingers are crazy fast. So then I went home, and I set a new password and blocked the memory menu, but then I closed MirageOS and went to program some more Physics junk for tomorrow's test, but then I tried to get in again, and for some reason, the password didn't work. X_X So I went online and figured out how to get into the memory menu even with the memory block. :P Yayyy.

Wow, that has got to be the nerdiest paragraph I have ever written. -headkeyboard-

Today it finally settled in that ALL STATE AUDITIONS ARE SATURDAY OMGOMGOMG I'M SO SCREWED. D: I haven't practiced anything, and the only thing I think I'll do well on are scales, providing my fingers don't cramp up. I practiced scales so long today my arm is sore from holding the flute and my fingers are like jfdkslafjdkslfjkdsl. I seriously doubt I'll get in. Well maybe I'd get in if all the practice-five-hours-a-day flutists don't try out. X_X

Anyways, besides spazzing about All-State, I've been struggling to keep up with my work. It's not that it's a ton of work (actually I think it's less than I got in TPMs), but I'm just so LAZY. I have no work ethic, and procrastinate all the time. It's not like I want to (believe me, I don't), but it just.. happens. I start homeworking on the computer, but then somehow I wander over to Facebook, and check my email, and log onto cB, and start some layouts, and then I get lost and don't realize it's time to start my homework until it's really late. It's a terrible thing. I just hope I manage to stop before long. Eh.

I suppose apart from stress and sleep deprivation (which I'm used to, so it's fine), my life is good now. I've learned to work around my initial disappointments and such, and I've found I'm enjoying school more. I'm starting to be able to summon enough patience to deal with tutoring Flora every week, and I'm picking up my cB activity. I'm still keeping in touch with my good friends from TPMS. I really want to see them though. Maybe we should have a reunion.

Okay so I finally took the time to do the image mapping and positioning of the links, which basically made me rearrange the whole layout. Wheee. I also revamped the very old smiley set from Nuwen.com which Rikkye kindly gave me permission to code. :] If you have any problems at all with the smileys (there might still be a couple bugs and junk), tell me. Oh yeah, and the layout's alignment isn't too good in IE, because Firefox's alignment is different and I chose Firefox because it's cooler.
